On trees bereft and bare, new leaves unfurl. Let them demolish one road-- I'll find another. (Quite literally--my regular shortcut is lost to a construction project.)
All these crimes against Mother Nature in the name of growth...no wonder Her fury's seen more frequently these days. --- Hope you find a new shortcut soon.:)(Is that a driving or a walking shortcut,btw?)

That is very much a walking short cut, have no nerve to drive in big city India. darpok that way. :)
