Suddenly my couch perch with large window does not look too bad.

The heat is building up terribly this year, the park is drying up much quicker than in previous years. This morning I noticed fruit on the Midas tree – a tree that I walk under every morning, but eyes and no eyes! The Kailashpati are a beauty too. Very sad re the snow and hailstorm in interior Maharashtra... horrible losses.

RIP, Mr. Khushwant Singh. The end of an era.

I remember reading *Train to Pakistan* in secret, class 9, was it?

I find Mr. Lanier's ideas very interesting. If he's right ...

I am sorry about the natural desaster and must confess that I do not know Mr. K. Singh - did he write a forbidden book ?

Mago... 40% of Maharashtra's rabi crop is gone... these areas are so HOT... people unprepared for hail, snow. So many jobs have gone, so much more happening online, I think he has a point.
KS? Can't condense him in a few lines... but what a man!

I will remember Mr KS and look for info about him later. At the moment I am working with a friend on a text. Oh dear it is so difficult to convince someone about the very good quality of one's text ... she always wants to delete, shortenshortenshorten ... in the end she'd go with one page - that's nice for a short story, not for a thesis ! Tense days.

All the best with the thesis... line by line corrections are KILLING.
