Rain! Lashing, intent rain, hard hitting and manic-primeval. That late the roads that dissect the colony are magically empty, even the stray dogs have crawled away someplace; and its just you and the rain and gushing wind, and you take a deep breath, draw your rainwear closer, focus on the next step, the lamp lights in the dark looking like distant halos past the driving water that gets into your eyes and seeps deep into your shoes.
And it is good to be alive.

Google seemingly comes to its senses. They accept that there is a problem with the comments of these two bloggers.

Mago is right, Austere. Your help is very appreciated here and I thank you for that.

The problem hasn't been solved yet, but it's on the verge of being solved. They say it's not a matter of censorship. It seems that both blogs were tagged as spam and the Google bots first removed the them and then systematically deleted the comments, which is the issue that must be fixed-.

We'll see what happens.

I really appreciate your efforts and thank you for your help, dear Austere.

Stunning imagery. Here, in the panhandle of Florida, we call our intense summer rain storms "frog stranglers."

Not for long, PQ.
So far the water has receded and pretty quickly.
But such a deluge!
