I’d forgotten how hot October can be, dry heat scorching three layers of skin, the wind burning your eyes and grit that sticks to the skin; it didn’t seem to affect a pair of pigeons playing about in a puddle, though.

silly ignorant pigeons...can't say thick skinned won for them..probably the size of their little brain and how simple they view their life--must be nice.

Stay cool..I've got some rain here and by tonight temps will be about 40something..would you like me to send you some?

quin- a blistering 97 degrees F in the shade. I'm getting crisp. :)

burf- they were so happy. at 2 in the pm.

crusty- I'll take the cool widout them rains. we been done with the darn monsoon.


amit- the mkts have messed up the festive.

epiphany- perhaps they have the right worldview?

Oct is not hot anymore in Bangalore. We get rains off and on.

Oct in UK is cold and wet. Very cold actually and so windy that you could almost fly away
