The Paranjoti choir singing Hallelujah
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rRq9XSaco-g

Kaisi paheli zindagani from Parineeta, very 60’s, stylish

And elsewhere, a celebrity author is hounded on twitter.
And elsewhere, a bunch of thugs from a nationalist right party vandalizes a school and pulls off a nun’s headgear. Then puts up a Christmas do.
See why I abhor crowds?

How are you?? you read, write, cook, work, and then think about a disappeared civilization and city 5000 yrs old, and a disappearing civilization and a battered city, attend a concert, and a script writing workshop ... wow.. you do such a lot!!! You know how to put your time to use ....do you need to learn to manage time anymore???

The crowd can become an entity of it's own. One of the few things that "macht mir Angst".

mago- you're right, perfectly normal, the best people, yet...

hey hey hey shiv- what a treat to hear from you, doc! Always need to manage time.. making the most of what this city has to give, while I can. And how are you?

Norrbu- me? in front of the comp, clapping and nodding. :) Such an ignoramus I am about western music. But such uplifting music!

Amit- smart!

I had not known about that chorus group - I find that its quite popular in mumbai...singing in a group gives me a big high from childhood :-)

And btw I hate crowds too...will go to any lengths to avoid :-)

Well, what I meant was, I try to- like in Mumbai locals..if I ever work there(touchwood, I won't), I'll leave for work at 0430 AM, or, by bus at 6..:)claustrophobia..:)I panic even in Baroda's traffic jams,so, use all the nooks and crannies of the city that I can(and, heaven knows, I know quite a lot, though not all).:)

amit- good luck... where would you find NO ppl in this city, dunno...

amnuji- do-panch ka farak- does not take a minute for a crowd to bare its teeth.

pQ- accha! yes, these ppl perform internationally too.

arunima- it is shameless.
