FB, comments on blogs on hold until the power situation for the home dabba aka pc is sorted, resolved, corrected. Have run thru 2 spikeguards and 4 fuses, collarsup.

Poignant, lump-in-the-throat moment by the banyan tree y’day, singing the national anthem. Strange yearning to travel, to dissect the length and breath of the nation by train, second class, live the allure and grime-dust of the Gauhati- Hapa, Jammu- Trivandrum, such long distance runners. Fanciful, eh.

Shraavan, the holy month. Did my bit with prayers at the temple, reciting the vishnusahastranam with the motley group. Peace instilling, centering.

Yes. Travel. The best thing to spend money on, really! I can't imagine a foreign holiday until I see all there is to see in India. There is just so much!

Traveling ... in some respect it is a bit schizophrenic, divided, I have to think about this.
Creating peace and centering, maybe the best the rites can do for mankind.

yep-that yearning, even i have...but, not sure I'd be happy to travel second class, through all the danger zones...western railway would be first choice, south, the second.

mago- schizophrenic? how? Second class, interacting with co-passengers is as real life as it gets..

amit - and then the smps... whatever that is. I think my apartment has old wiring, hence.yes, one has to factor in the bombs, derailments, strikers, Maoists...

pq- yep, some day.
