I coo at this chubby five-month charmer as he gurgles, shows off a toothless smile while his proud parents beam; yes, truly a miracle, a reminder for cynical-at-the-edges me.

Hmhm ... the very young and the very old have these toothless grin ... and there is something about the eyes. They both have seen something or are still or again in touch.

a miracle and precious but such hard work too! Now their hearts are vulnerable to pain due to worry from child growth.

scary but precious and miraculous with no sleep too.
