On the horizon the sunset an orange-red slash sandwiched by dense blue black ; a dramatic backdrop to reminisce about the school in a mango orchard, long-gone teachers whose admonitions still echo, and first sighs.
You had to remind me-I was already regretting that I just flitted past my ole school premises, and did not have time to check out whether any of the teachers were still around!!
amit- aww. they're getting old too, its not just us, isn't it? next time then.
babyisland- it was sooperb. when one was punished one had to collect mangoes that had fallen on the ground and slice them for others to eat. with red chilli powder and salt. for a while, atleast. :)

in a sense, yes, going back briefly to what one once was, the dreams, the hopes, the values- yes, a place of repose.

I went to so many different schools I have no good memories to reach back to, but I will enjoy your mango orchard for now! :)
