I used to tell my mother-in-law that she was the Rasputin of little old ladies. Said death-bed goodbyes to her 6 times in hospital; and yet, she came around, astonished everyone, for another 5 beautiful years.
I hope when you can, you will come join my tiny group to examine our own aging, at Ten Little Years (http://tenlittleyears.wordpress.com). It's a sub-blog of Switched at Birth to explore my passage from 60to 70 in this new decade, and others' experiences. Some wonderful writers there. It's a decade. There is time.
