It is just as well one puts on a veneer with the years. It is just as well one learns resilience. Of sorts, of course. What I shall never understand is the disconnect between word and meaning, like a foreign language with familiar words that mean quite something else.
Hopefully.

I would like to gently smile at you, touch you gently at your arm and offer a cup of tea.
That is all I can do.

I am constantly and regularly asked "how I do it", you know with my three minions (alone) and I have to say veneer and resilience.

Let it not grow too hardened, I do fear I have no control over that though.

I understand what you mean about the disconnect. Daily.

Sigh.

language is sometimes funny to me. its serves as a mode of communication, but can also become a barrier.. sometimes there are just not enough words to describe what you feel..
